At Seedhill in Nelson, many people see an Athletics Track but many people will not realise that near this hallowed ground there were once gladiators of a lost generation.

They fought with horses of steel to be crowned champion in the world of stock cars. Once upon a time this area saw some titanic battles. In fact one race in particular that went down in stock car folk law as the greatest race ever to take place..

It is our great honour to celebrate at Pendle Powerfest this legendary race with a display of cars, bikes and memorabilia from the era as well as the LAST car to have won at this now legendary track.

Frankie Wainman Senior's car, rebuilt by hand from a box of bits, will be on display

at Pendle Powerfest with hopefully the great man himself expected to make an appearance its sure to be a day to remember.
