£2500 Donation to Community Champion

COMMUNITY CHAMPION HANDOVER It gave us great pleasure for the majority of the outgoing 2017/18 organising committee to handover a cheque today (despite the rain!) for £2500 to the inaugural Community Champion:

Mandy Sellars, founder of the GoPI3Ks Charity.

Mandy has amazed the whole team this year with her fantastic approach to life, despite having to live with something few of us will ever come across. This donation has helped towards funding the first ever weekend get together for people who have this rare genetic mutation, and for many it will be the first time they have met someone with similar conditions.
