Charity policy

Each year Pendle Powerfest select One Charity and One Community Champion to support at all of their events.

Our criteria for applications are as follows:

Charity:

• Registered charity
• A clear explanation of what you are trying to achieve so that we can help spread this message
• Commitment to provide representative/s at our main event on the last Sunday in May and ideally at some of our smaller events too.
• Willingness to work with our team of volunteers to maximise promotion of the event through your own channels

Community Champion:

• Based within 10 Miles of Pendle Powerfest’s home in Barrowford
• A single person or small group with a specific target
• A clear explanation of what you are trying to achieve so that we can help spread this message
• Commitment to provide representative/s at our main event on the last Sunday in May and ideally at some of our smaller events too.
• Willingness to work with our team of volunteers to maximise promotion of the event through your own channels

After selection:

Pendle Powerfest will support the two selected by providing exclusive fundraising at all of their events until the end of the calendar year that the main show is held.

They will be provided with a premium pitch in the best locations possible at each event along with extensive links and coverage online.

No other charities will be allowed to fundraise at these events, except in exceptional circumstances.
Any charities wishing to raise awareness or offer contributory services to the events will be considered on a case by case basis.
